    There is a question that I’d like to ask. As it is said in the Bible, “You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven” (Act 1:11), I’ve always thought that since the Lord Jesus ascended to heaven bearing the image and clothes of a Jew, He shall descend among us in the image of a Jew when He comes back. However, during a meeting, the preacher said that this prophecy doesn’t exactly say the Lord will descend in the image of a Jewish man, and that as we human beings are unable to fathom the mysteries in the prophecies, we cannot determine that the image of the returned Lord will be that of a Jew based on our imaginings, otherwise we will be very likely to miss the opportunity to welcome the Lord. So I’m very confused now. Will the Lord appear to us in the image of a Jewish man when He comes back? If He changes His image, how can we recognize Him and welcome His return? It can be seen from the Lord’s words that when we hear someone spreading the news about the Lord’s coming, we should be the wise virgins and actively seek and investigate. Only in this way can we welcome the Lord’s return. However, the pastors, based on the verses “Then if any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Mat 24:23-24), always tell us that we mustn’t believe those who preach that the Lord Jesus has returned because they are preaching the way of false Christs and deceiving people. So, many brothers and sisters are very confused: “When hearing someone bearing witness to the return of the Lord Jesus, should we actively seek and investigate it or avoid and refuse it?     Today, I watched a talk show on Youtube that focused on a story between a mother and daughter. The mother is smart and capable, and her family is well off. When her daughter was very young, she has started to take great care of her and even planned her future. Her daughter was very well behaved since she was young and listened to all that her mother arranges for her, living in accordance with her mother’s plans. However, after the daughter grew up and studied in the United States, she was no longer willing to be controlled by her mother and felt that the life without the slightest space of personal thoughts made her feel suffocated. She stopped contacting her mother, no longer studied carefully, and would never be a good girl in her mother’s eyes anymore; instead, she wanted to live the life she wanted and desired to resist and indulge herself. So she resolutely gave up studying abroad and went back to China. She started going to KTV, internet cafes and staying out all night. In the following years, she had not talked with her mother. The once sensible daughter became now a completely different girl. Her mother cried all day long and felt very sad. But no matter how the mother tried to persuade her daughter, the daughter ignored her mother’s existence and deliberately ruined herself, seemingly intended to retaliate against her mother.
